Paris is such a beautiful city to behold. It's been on my bucket list for quite sometime and finally this past year I had to privileged of visiting to city of love.
One of my favourite things to do the first night I'm in a new city is to wander the streets at night watching the city and its people. Paris was no exception, I wandered around my area for supper and walked off all the delicious food and wine.
Exploring the Louvre. It's inspiring to see how others before you saw the world around them. "Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time" - Thomas Merton. Architecture should speak of its time and place, but yearn for timelessness - Frank Gehry. It is humbling to walk the Louvre, the palace that became a world renowned art museum.
The more you observe, the more you see. The more you see, the more you know. The more you know, the more you dream. And dreaming? Dreaming makes us feel alive. Paris makes me dream BIG. Travelling the world, exploring new places, new food and new languages...there's nothing like it. You could never waste money expanding you mind in this manner. Savour these moments.
